David Douillet (* 17. Februar 1969 in Rouen, Frankreich) ist ein ehemaliger französischer Judoka und heutiger Politiker. Seinen ersten großen Erfolg errang er mit dem Gewinn der Bronzemedaille im Schwergewicht bei den Olympischen Spielen in Barcelona im Jahr 1992. 1993 wurde er in Hamilton, Kanada, erster französischer Weltmeister im Schwergewicht.
David Douillet, né le 17 février 1969 à Rouen ( Seine-Maritime ), est un judoka et homme politique français. Il est l'un des judokas français les plus titrés de l'histoire. Il évoluait dans la catégorie des « poids lourd », la plus massive en judo Note 2. Son palmarès compte deux titres olympiques obtenus en 1996 à Atlanta et 2000 à Sydney.
David Douillet was a candidate for the UMP center-right political party in the by-election of 11 and 18 October 2009 in the 12th constituency of the Yvelines department. He won 52,10% of the ballots cast and was elected member of the National Assembly .
