Kees A. Schouhamer Immink (Life Fellow, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree (Hons.) from the University of Johannesburg in 2014. He founded Turing Machines Inc., an innovative start-up focused on novel signal processing for solid-state memories, where he is currently the President.
Kees Schouhamer Immink is a Fellow of the IEEE, AES, SMPTE, a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences (KNAW), a member of the US National Academy of Engineering (NAE), an honorary member of the Netherlands Electronics and Radio Society (NERG). He received 2017 IEEE Medal of Honor.
