An adaptation of the delightful Steele Rudd stories written at the turn of the century about the trials and tribulations of rural life, in particular those of the Rudd family. Dad Rudd moves his family out into the scrub to 'select' 150 acres of fly-blown land that would hardly grow a cabbage.
