Overview. After the relatively low box office takings of 'Intolerance', D. W. Griffith would revisit his epic film three years later by releasing two of the film's interlocking stories as standalone features, with some new additional footage.
The Mother and the Law plot A young couple sees their lives changed forever when a group of cold-hearted ambitious ladies unite for the supposed upliftment of their fellow human beings. In reality, however, they only want to enact laws that suit their own will and way of thinking.
