Home Sweet Homicide is a 1946 American comedy mystery film directed by Lloyd Bacon and starring Peggy Ann Garner, Randolph Scott and Lynn Bari. It was based on the 1944 eponymous mystery novel by Craig Rice. Though he would make a further 39 films, Home Sweet Homicide is the second-to-last non-western film of Randolph Scott's career.

Kid's style murder investigation as a group of local children decide to assist the police track down a killer loose in their neighborhood. Might feel a little light as it's clearly aimed at a younger audience, but if you go with the nonsense Home, Sweet Homicide (1946) becomes a good time.
Based on a novel by Craig Rice, Home Sweet Homicide is a delightful blend of domestic comedy and murder mystery. Peggy Ann Garner, Dean Stockwell and Connie Marshall play Dinah, Archie and April Carstairs, the precocious offspring of widowed mystery writer Marian Carstairs (Lynn Bari).
