After Hattie Jacques died, Eric Sykes seemed to struggle on his own. In 1980, Eric fronted his own show which had him as the director of a Broadway musical entitled 'The Likes Of Sykes'. Unfortunately, it was no great shakes and met with a poor response from his fans.
