"Nature Cat's Nature Movie Special Extraordinaire" is a special of Nature Cat. It premiered on April 22, 2024.
Nature Cat and his pals realize they've come to the end of their Nature Curiosity List. Meanwhile, Sir. Galahad gives himself the title of King and moves into a barren castle and steals pieces of nature to make his castle look more beautiful. Oh no!

As the special starts, Nature Cat comes running and greets the viewers, saying that he’s glad that “[they’re] here!”. He welcomes us to “Nature Cat’s Nature Movie Special Extraordinaire!” in which the title appears. Squeeks pops out asking that the special is today and realizes that she hasn’t read the script yet. Hal arrives saying that a little birdie told him that this “is the movie special”, but then realizes it’s Squeeks who said that, and Daisy comes along, also excited for the special and asks the rest on what their special is. Squeeks mentions that they’ve done the Bad Dog Bart one, Hal mentions “Ocean Commotion” where he lost Mr. Chewinsky (in which it won a ‘best movie about losing a chew toy’ award at the Chew Toy Awards), and Daisy mentions that they also had a Christmas Special movie. The gang notice Houston walking and follow him as they ask Houston what the special is about, only for him to reply that the device he is using is an acorn finder to help his chipmunk friends. As the gang still wonders on what the movie special is about, Nature Cat asks his ‘squirrel intern’ Gary to lend him his lute, only to find that it falls flat so he requests Gary to have his alto lute (the late medieval model with the nylon frets) and it plays bright, resulting in Nature Cat and his pals singing an opening number about doing a show that can be a “movie special extraordinaire.”
After this, Nature Cat gets out his trademark nature curiosity list and he and the gang notice that they’ve done all the curiosites on the list! Daisy states that they’ve been on five whole seasons and Hal asks if there are no more questions to ask about nature anymore, while Squeeks disbelieves this. Just then a horse drawn carriage pulled by a ferret royal valet stops by and the ferret valet introduces the King to the gang, who turns out to be none other than Sir Galahad. Galahad declares that he is now “King Galahad”, as most movie specials have a king, and is given a drink from the ferret royal valet. After drinking it, King Galahad says that he can do anything he wants and proves it by just sucking Nature Cat into his cup and throwing him out as a puddle. Daisy tells King Galahad that littering is not good and the rest try to convince him that nature is beautiful. They try to show King Galahad some wildflowers as well as meeting a blue butterfly, but King Galahad becomes careless. After he leaves on the carriage, Nature Cat states that his curiosity list is due for a refresh and decides that they should go out and find new nature curiosities.
Meanwhile at a royal castle where King Galahad now resides, King Galahad has his royal valet ferret to hand over his things from the hamster cage because it makes the castle feel much better. With that, King Galahad declares that nature is a nice inspiration to “spruce up the castle” and instantaneously gets an idea to go back out into nature, just after getting another drink. At the pond, Hal greets his pond pals and frolics, before finding out that he needs to find more things for the nature curiosity list. After noticing the Old Cracky Rock and pondering on how it got there, in which it might be a nature curiosity, Hal trails off while frolicing and saying bye to his pond pals. Squeeks is trying to search for more nature curiosities and notices a bed of moss, as she marks it as a new curiosity. Daisy on the other hand comes to a new curiosity on what flowers to hummingbirds like best. As for Nature Cat, he bumps into an oak tree and, as acorns fall on his head, finds a new curiosity on how many acorns the oak tree in Sunset Park can produce in a year. As the gang regroups together, they tell each other their new nature curiosities. After Hal asks why raspberry patches have prickles after being poked by one, Nature Cat finds that he has left his list back at the park. So Daisy tells him that they can get the list and write the new curiosities on it and Squeeks then replies that they will then go out and find the answers. Nature Cat believes them both and the foursome head out. King Galahad arrives on a shopping cart pushed by the valet ferret and takes some little trees, rocks, pinecones, and the raspberry bush.
Nature Cat and the gang return and notice that the raspberry patch is gone. As they ponder on who could’ve done this, King Galahad admires his castle with the stuff he has gotten, but needs more things to decorate his castle. He finds a pink rock on the ground to which his royal valet ferret transfers to him and also discovers a red bush (as it is then also transferred) and the Old Cracky Rock. Houston arrives in the castle and King Galahad that he had to move some things to the castle. Houston gets out a new chemistry device, which then makes a new wand. He teaches King Galahad to use the wand to “point and flick” and tell that anything that disappears in the forest, will reappear in the castle. Galahad uses the wand to zap the Old Cracky Rock into his castle. Nature Cat and the rest head back to the pond to find that the Old Cracked Rock is gone and Hal, as the ‘Great Hal-dini’, tries and fails to get the rock back. After Squeeks notices that nothing is ever going to happen and Daisy notices that the erosion from the Old Cracky Rock is also gone after finding that more things in nature are disappearing, Nature Cat reassures the gang that they’ll make sure that nothing else is disappearing in nature.
King Galahad meanwhile notices that the old cracky rock needs more nature color and using his telescope finds some wildflowers in which he uses his wand to zap them into his castle, thus making it more beautiful. As for Nature Cat and the others, they find all the wildflowers gone, as well as the hummingbirds. So if they want to have nature back, Nature Cat then has Gary give him his acoustic lute, in which he and the others then sing a 90's like ballad about wanting nature back as other things in nature are then zapped into King Galahad’s castle.
At this point, King Galahad is then congratulated by the royal valet ferret who told him that the castle is “fit for a king”. King Galahad however states that something is missing: something in nature for the castle floor which turned out to be the moss bed in which Galahad zaps it to his castle and the valet ferret tells King Galahad that his castle might be fit for the Castle Digest book. The gang on the other hand finds the moss bed gone. Squeeks notices a silent lizard and a silent tree frog and finds out from them that the moss used to be in its spot then it disappeared. Nature Cat then vows to “get to the bottom of this”, as Hal decides to help and suggests bringing in some singing ducklings, Squeeks suggests bringing in her cheese robot Barbara, and Daisy suggests bringing in her plane (all were stated earlier in the opening song). Nature Cat wasn’t sure of any of these ideas, but Hal reassured that they’re trying to “keep the thread alive” and Squeeks told him that they’re going to “pay off” since she actually read the script. Thus Nature Cat tells the others to search for more clues. Back at the castle, King Galahad is reminded by his valet ferret that Castle Digest will be coming later and he feels like one thing is missing which is something big and a focal point to his nature decor. King Galahad uses his telescope and discovers the oak tree that Nature Cat and his pals were resting at and while Nature Cat is trying to think of a plan the oak tree gets zapped while he is not looking and the gang tries to remind him in a panic. After finding that the tree disappeared, as well as a log, Nature Cat and his pals spring into action to find the culprit.
•This is the fourth episode of the show to have a one hour special; this first one in "Ocean Commotion" the second one "The Return of Bad Dog Bart!" and third episode "A Nature Carol."
•Sir Galahad returns for the third time.
•Like the previous special Nature Carol the special lasts for 53 minutes.
•Houston ‘cries’ for the first time.
