A Man Alone (1955) Mark Franklin July 7, 2017 1950s. Ray Milland is Wes Steele, a fast gun whose horse dies, stranding him in the desert. Then he comes upon a stagecoach. It’s passengers are dead, it’s money box broken into. But the horses are still alive, so Milland mounts one and rides into a nearby town. That’s when his trouble begins.
Overview. A gunfighter, stranded in the desert, comes across the aftermath of a stage robbery, in which all the passengers were killed. He takes one of the horses to ride to town to report the massacre, but finds himself accused of it.
