The Galíndez File (Spanish: El misterio Galíndez, lit. 'The Galíndez Mystery') is a 2003 drama film directed by Gerardo Herrero and starring Saffron Burrows, Harvey Keitel, Eduard Fernández and Guillermo Toledo. It is based on Manuel Vázquez Montalbán's 1991 novel Galíndez.
Filmed in English, it follows the steps of an American female student living in Madrid in the 1980s who investigates the mysterious disappearance in the 1950s of a Basque politician exiled in the United States. Both time periods are magnificently recreated through a most outstanding art direction.
