Oliver Leese. Oliver William Hargreaves Leese war ein Offizier, der dem britischen General Bernard Montgomery sehr nahe stand. Oliver Leese was a British general who served in WW1 and WW2. He commanded the Guards Armoured Division, XXX Corps, Eighth Army, and Allied Land Forces South-East Asia, and was involved in the campaigns in France, North Africa, Italy, and Burma.
