Edward Herbert, 2nd Earl of Powis, KG (22 March 1785 – 17 January 1848), styled Viscount Clive between 1804 and 1839, was a British peer and Tory politician. He was the grandson of Clive of India.
Sir EDWARD HERBERT (died 23 March 1595) (buried at Welshpool), the second son of William Herbert, 1st earl of Pembroke of the second creation, by Anne Parr, daughter of Sir Thomas Parr, had purchased the 'Red Castle' in Powis and its lordship from Edward Grey in 1587 (see Powis, Grey, lords of ).
