August 1881) war ein Häuptling der Brulé-Lakota-Indianer. Den englischen Namen Spotted Tail (gefleckter Schweif) erhielt er von weißen Pelztierjägern.
Spotted Tail war tatsächlich der Regierung wegen seiner Rednerkunst und seinen besonderen Fähigkeiten in Richtung der komplizierten Indianer-Politik ein Dorn im Auge. Auch hatte er sich konsequent für die Verbesserung der Lebensbedingungen seines Volkes eingesetzt.
