George Hamilton, 1. Earl of Orkney (* 1666 in Hamilton; † 29. Januar 1737 in London), war ein schottisch-britischer Feldmarschall und Adliger.
Lord George Hamilton (later Earl of Orkney) was first commissioned in 1684. Shy in company, as a soldier he had a reputation for courage and tenacity, and was rapidly promoted. By the Irish War of 1689-1690 he was in command of an infantry regiment.
