Lord of Bramber (auch William (III) de Braose oder de Briouze; * 1144/53; † 4. September 1211 in Corbeil ) war ein anglonormannischer Magnat . Vor allem durch seine Freundschaft mit König Johann Ohneland stieg er von einem einfachen Baron zu einem reichen Magnaten auf.
William de Braose, (or William de Briouze), 4th Lord of Bramber (1144/1153 – 9 August 1211), court favourite of King John of England, at the peak of his power, was also Lord of Gower, Abergavenny, Brecknock, Builth, Radnor, Kington, Limerick, Glamorgan, Skenfrith, Briouze in Normandy, Grosmont and White Castle.
In 1175 William de Braose was instructed by King Henry II to forbid all Welsh men in his domains to bear arms. William invited the princes and chieftains of Gwent to a feast at Abergavenny Castle to give them the news. The guests politely left their weapons outside but the merrymaking came to abrupt halt when William made his announcement.
