Marshall Rosenbluth was a pioneer in nuclear fusion research and a leader in international collaboration. He was a faculty member at IAS from 1967 to 1982 and received many honors and awards, including the Albert Einstein Prize.
Marshall Rosenbluth was an American physicist who worked on the hydrogen bomb project at Los Alamos during the Cold War. He was recruited by Edward Teller to come to Los Alamos in 1950. He witnessed some nuclear tests in the South Pacific. He helped develop the Metropolis algorithm.
