Édouard Claparède (* 24. März 1873 in Genf; † 29. September 1940 ebenda) war ein Schweizer Psychologe und Pädagoge, der die École de Psychologie et des Sciences de l’Éducation an der Universität Genf gründete.

Édouard Claparède (24 March 1873 – 29 September 1940) was a Swiss neurologist, child psychologist, and educator. Career. Claparède studied science and medicine, receiving in 1897 an MD from the University of Geneva, and working 1897–98 at La Salpêtrière hospital in Paris.

Édouard Claparède, né le 24 mars 1873 à Genève et mort le 28 septembre 1940 dans la même ville, est un neurologue et psychologue suisse. Ses principaux centres d'intérêt sont la psychologie de l'enfant, l'enseignement et l'étude de la mémoire, notamment dans le domaine du témoignage.
