George Blake (* 11. November 1922 in Rotterdam als Georg Behar; † 26. Dezember 2020 in Moskau [1]) war ein Geheimagent des Vereinigten Königreiches, der als Doppelagent auch Spionage für die Sowjetunion betrieb und später als Überläufer nach Moskau ging.
George Blake (né Behar; 11 November 1922 – 26 December 2020) was a spy with Britain's Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) and worked as a double agent for the Soviet Union. He became a communist and decided to work for the MGB while a prisoner during the Korean War.
George Blake, British diplomat and spy for the Soviet Union. He held various positions in the British government, including a stint with MI-6. After his arrest in 1961, he admitted being a double agent. Blake was sentenced to 42 years in prison, but he escaped in 1966 and fled to the Soviet Union.
