Sie tauchen mit einem sprechenden, fliegenden Märchenbuch in die Geschichten ein und erleben sie mit.
Doc Croc is resourceful and Yoyo is amusing and cute. 'The Nightingale's' characters are interesting in personality and the titular character has an especially notable charm. The voice acting fit the characters well, being emotive and fitting the characters' personalities without any hamminess, passiveness or blandness.
