Glasgow Belongs to Me. Out of jail after a seven-year sentence, Charlie Endell returns to his old haunts in Soho. Having failed to impress the new breed of villain who has taken over his territory, he returns home to Glasgow, convinced that the city belongs. He's in for a big surprise.
The series was a spin-off from the classic 1971–72 ITV drama, Budgie, which featured a highly-popular Scottish underworld character, Charles Endell, who was played by Iain Cuthbertson. STV saw the potential for a whole series built around Endell, returning him back to his native Glasgow.
