Henri-Joseph Harpignies (französisch, 1819 – 1916) war ein Landschaftsmaler der Schule von Barbizon. Er wurde in Valenciennes in Nordfrankreich geboren und verfolgte auf Wunsch seiner Eltern zunächst eine wirtschaftliche Ausbildung, begann jedoch 1846 seine Ausbildung im Atelier des Landschaftsmalers Jean-Alexis Achard in Paris.
