Impressionist Theodore Earl Butler (1861-1936) is often remembered best for his marriage to Suzanne Hoschede-Monet (stepdaughter of Claude Monet). Butler studied under William Merritt Chase and at the Académie Julian in Paris. His work was featured at both the Paris Salon and the 1913 Armory Show.
