Hugh Chisholm (* 22. Februar 1866 in London; † 29. September 1924 ebenda) war ein britischer Journalist sowie der Herausgeber der 10., 11. und 12. Ausgabe der Encyclopædia Britannica . Leben. Graduating from the University of Oxford in 1888, Chisholm became assistant editor of the St. James’s Gazette in 1892 and editor in 1897. In 1900 he joined.
