Der Ontariosee (englisch Lake Ontario; französisch Lac Ontario) ist der flächenmäßig kleinste der fünf Großen Seen Nordamerikas, die miteinander durch Flussläufe verbunden sind. Nach Tiefe und Volumen ist er jedoch nach dem Eriesee der zweitkleinste.
Ontarios südliche Grenze zu den Vereinigten Staaten besteht fast gänzlich aus Seen und Flüssen, beginnend mit dem Lake of the Woods. Sie verläuft weiter an vier der fünf Großen Seen ( Oberer See, Huronsee, Eriesee und Ontariosee) und schließlich am Sankt-Lorenz-Strom in der Nähe von Cornwall.
