Jack Kerouac, eigentlich Jean-Louis Lebris de Kérouac (* 12. März 1922 in Lowell , Massachusetts ; † 21. Oktober 1969 in Saint Petersburg , Florida ), war ein US-amerikanischer Schriftsteller franko-kanadischer Herkunft und einer der wichtigsten Vertreter der Beat Generation .
