As a true champion on and off the mats, and the most-loved international ambassador for peace and friendship the wrestling world has ever known, David L. Schultz is honored as a Distinguished Member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

26. Jan. 1996 · Dave Schultz was a Californian high school wrestling champion and attended the University of Oklahoma, where he became a 1982 NCAA champion. He was one of America’s best known international wrestlers in the 1980s, winning six medals at the World Championships, including a gold in 1984.
