Michael Arthur Meighen, CM, KC (born March 25, 1939) is a Canadian lawyer, cultural patron, and former senator. He practised as a litigation and commercial lawyer in Montreal and Toronto.
Arthur Meighen PC QC ( / ˈmiːən /; June 16, 1874 – August 5, 1960) was a Canadian lawyer and politician who served as the ninth prime minister of Canada from 1920 to 1921 and from June to September 1926. He led the Conservative Party from 1920 to 1926 and from 1941 to 1942.

Their children included Michael Meighen, who was later named to the Senate of Canada. Following Theodore Meighen's death, Peggy married Senator Hartland Molson in 1990, and remains the only Canadian ever to have both a son and a husband sitting in the Canadian Senate simultaneously.

As a politician, he spent 21 years in the Senate of Canada before retiring in 2012.
