The Exploited wurde Anfang 1980 von Wattie Buchan, John Duncan, Gary McCormack und Drew „Dru Stix“ Campbell im schottischen Edinburgh gegründet. 1981 erschien ihr Debütalbum Punks Not Dead, das Platz 20 der britischen Charts erreichte und 150.000 Exemplare absetzte.
The Exploited are a Scottish punk rock band from Edinburgh, formed in 1978 by Stevie Ross and Terry Buchan, with Buchan soon replaced by his brother Wattie Buchan. They signed to Secret Records in March 1981, [1] and their debut EP, Army Life, and debut album, Punks Not Dead, were both released that year. [1]

The Exploited is een punkband uit Schotland ontstaan in het begin van 1980. Biografie. The Exploited werd opgericht door ex-militair Wattie Buchan (zang) en John Duncan (gitaar) in het begin van 1980. Al snel volgde Dru Stix (drums) en Danny (basgitaar). Na een tijdje brachten ze hun eerste ep Army Life uit.
