He is well known for his collaborations with Yorgos Lanthimos, having edited all his films to date. He is a graduate of the London Film School, and honed his skills working in commercials.

17. März 2024 · Yorgos Mavropsaridis celebrated his nomination at this year’s Oscars alongside his two daughters, who joined him on his journey to Los Angeles: 24-year-old Ilektra, a musician, and 27-year-old Penelope, a director. Perhaps this was his greatest joy.
