Savage are a British heavy metal band from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, that formed in 1978. They were part of the new wave of British heavy metal.
Years active: 1978-1986, 1995-present. Not to be confused with: - Savage 79 (NWOBHM from London, originally named Savage) - Savage (NWOBHM/Hard Rock from Aylsham) Officially founded by Chris Bradley in 1978, although there had been a one-off lineup in 1977 that played one gig before disbanding.
Savage is a band that has been around since 1981, influenced by the likes of Thin Lizzy, UFO and Van Halen. They have released seven albums, toured with Metallica and Venom, and reformed in 1995 after a hiatus.
Savage (* 28. November 1956 in Massa als Roberto Zanetti) ist ein italienischer Musiker und Produzent, der seinen künstlerischen Höhepunkt im Rahmen der Italo-Disco -Szene in den 1980er Jahren hatte. Der Künstlername ist eine Anspielung auf die Comicfigur Doc Savage .
