Bernard Mathew „Bernie“ Leadon III (* 19. Juli 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) ist ein US-amerikanischer Sänger, Gitarrist, Banjo - und Dobrospieler und Songwriter, der in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren Mitglied der Country-Rock - Bands Flying Burrito Brothers und den Eagles war.
Prior to the Eagles, he was a member of three country rock bands: Hearts & Flowers, Dillard & Clark, and the Flying Burrito Brothers. He is a multi-instrumentalist ( guitar, banjo, mandolin, steel guitar, dobro) coming from a bluegrass background. He introduced elements of this music to a mainstream audience during his tenure with the Eagles.
