This was the second incarnation of the Rat Pack under the leadership of Frank Sinatra. The early 1960s version of the group included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop. This group was originally known as the "Clan", but that name fell out of favor because it was reminiscent of the Ku Klux Klan.
Am 7. Oktober 2003 fand die deutsche Erstaufführung im Berliner Schiller-Theater statt. Zum heutigen Rat Pack gehören jedoch nur mehr Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr. und Dean Martin, welche von den Musikern Chris Mann (Sinatra), Nigel Casey, Timothy Sell & Alex Bourne (Martin) und Michael Harris & David Hayes (Davis, Jr.) dargestellt werden.
Ohne Frage waren Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. und Dean Martin die wichtigsten Mitglieder der sogenannten "Rattenbande", die eine tiefe Freundschaft miteinander verband. 1988 bei der „Together Again“-Tour stand das RAT PACK letztmalig gemeinsam auf der Bühne.
