25. Okt. 2023 · Harriet Ella Wheeler (born June 26, 1963) is an English singer and songwriter most famous for her work in alternative rock band the Sundays. She is a co-founder of the band along with her husband and guitarist/co-songwriter David Gavurin.
Vocalist Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin met as students at Bristol University in the mid-1980s. [3] . Wheeler was from Reading, the daughter of an architect and a teacher, and studied English literature. [4] . Gavurin was from Wembley and actively pursued a degree in the Romance languages, [4] particularly French and Spanish. [5] .

While we’re waiting for the 4th to dissipate and bring us fresh news, I’d like to take this bit of time to talk about the immensely talented Harriet Wheeler, who fronted The Sundays in the ’90s. With only three albums in release, The Sundays simply vanished from sight.
