Mit Ausnahme der aufwendig gestalteten Eingangshalle, war der Großteil des Innenraums zerstört. Ferner wurden Graffiti berichtet. 2008 brannte die Ruine aus. In den folgenden Jahren stürzten weitere Teile des Gebäudes ein. Heute ist Lennox Castle als Ruine der höchsten Gefährdungsstufe eingestuft.
Lennox Castle is an abandoned castle in Lennoxtown, East Dunbartonshire, Scotland, approximately 12 miles (19 kilometres) north of Glasgow. It is infamous for previously hosting Lennox Castle Hospital , Scotland's "largest institution for people with learning disabilities".
