Táta Vega (born Carmen Rosa Vega, October 7, 1951) is an American vocalist, whose career spans theater, film, and a variety of musical genres.
For 50+ years Táta has been recognized as one of the most successful session singers of today and has sung back-up for a number of artists including legendary entertainers, Sir Elton John, Madonna, Michael Jackson, and new artists such as Iggy Azalea, Natasha Beddingfield, Melody Gardot, and countless others.

She began her professional singing career in 1969 in California as a cast member in the Los Angeles production of the musical Hair.
