The Wrecking Crew is a loose collective of American session musicians based in Los Angeles whose services were employed for a great number of studio recordings in the 1960s and 1970s, including hundreds of top 40 hits. The musicians were not publicly recognized in their era, but were viewed with reverence by industry insiders.
Dean Martin stars as Matt Helm, a US agent sent to stop a gold heist in Denmark. The film features Bruce Lee as a martial arts adviser, Sharon Tate as a femme fatale, and Chuck Norris in his film debut.

It is the fourth and final film in the Matt Helm series, and is loosely based on the 1960 novel of the same name by Donald Hamilton .
