Hayes had no problem being part of the show while they shit all over every other religion but then got pissed when they did the same thing to his and left. The Chef death episode was basically just their way of saying “Fuck you” to him. Award.
The episode is an allegory (if you could call it that?) For the situation that happened, with the stupid club chef joins taking him from the kids' lives. That's why Chef's lines the entire episode are fucked up because they were reusing old voice clips
