8. Sept. 2020 · Beide Addons sind vom gesamten Umfang und der Genauigkeit her eigentlich praktisch identisch. Es gibt aber durchaus einige Fähigkeiten, die nur einen Cooldown besitzen und keinen festen Timer, oder die sich durch die Kombination mit anderen Fähigkeiten etwas verschieben können.

25. März 2021 · One of the main differences between Bigwigs and DBM is that Bigwigs just tells you what is happening in the boss fight and focuses on providing you with information only, from there you can decide what the best possible move should be.
20. Jan. 2021 · DBM tells you what to do vs BigWigs tells you what is going on and for you to decide what to do. DBM is more in your face, get out of fire, and better if you don’t know specific mechanics or boss abilities. Hey all, slightly off topic but I know one usually trumps the other each patch/expansion.
DBM is more in your face, louder noises, flashing in your face 'TAUNT THE BOSS'. And BigWigs is more subtle, It'll tell you that your co tank has 10 stacks. Nothing more. You're kind of expected to still think for yourself.
I've typically been a DBM user, but it seems like every expansion, one of these add-ons is just superior. I've heard many people this expansion say that currently BigWigs is better than DBM. Is this true? Is there a main reason why? Thanks in advance for any insight!
Big Wigs has two major advantages: It also looks better to many players. The main advantage of DBM is that it tells you what to do, so if you need that, go for it, but most good players know how to react to mechanics and only need the timers. If I keep messing up one I just make a WA with sounds instead.
