Pippa Fitz-Amobi is the protagonist of A Good Girl's Guide To Murder series by Holly Jackson. She is 17 years old as of the first book. She grew up in Little Kilton (Fairview in the American adaptation) the same small town that was consumed by the murder of Sal Singh.
In the first book of the series, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Pip—along with Ravi Singh—is one of the very few people in Little Kilton/Fairview(American version) who believes, and is greatly determined to prove, that Salil (Sal) Singh is not the one who killed Andie Bell. When Pip is required to do an EPQ project for school, she finds the perfect opportunity to investigate the murder. Ravi Singh, Sal's brother, assists Pip in her project.
Good Girl, Bad BloodPip is forced to break her promise of not being a detective anymore when someone she knows goes missing: Jamie Reynolds. He's disappeared and the police won't do anything about it. But if they won't look for Jamie then Pip will be uncovering more of her town's dark secrets along the way… and this time EVERYONE is listening through her true-crime podcast. Throughout the story, much doubt is cast upon her character because many people believed that Jamie's disappearance had been staged. At the end of the story, she uncovers the fact that it was in fact Stanley Forbes who had kidnapped Jamie, and that Stanley was actually Child Brunswick, the son of a serial killer, who had helped his father in luring people to their deaths when he was a child, and that Charlie Green was the brother of one of the victims. Charlie shoots Stanley multiple times, and Pip attempts to revive him, but fails. In the end, she arranges Stanley's funeral and attacks the people who are holding a protest against him, but is held back by her father. She suffers from severe trauma afterwards.
As Good as DeadPip is traumatized from the events of Good Girl Bad Blood and then discovers she may be being stalked by a serial killer believed to be imprisoned. No longer trusting the police, Pip takes the situation into her own hands alongside Ravi Singh. Later she gets abducted from Cross Lane by the DT Killer, soon to be known as Jason Bell. Jason proceeds to bind Pip's face, hands and legs with duct tape. After freeing herself from her binds, Pip proceeds to kill Jason Bell, roping in Ravi to help her hide the body and enlisting Jamie, Nat, Connor, Cara and Naomi to create her alibi.

Pip is a young white woman with lily-white skin, brown hair and green eyes (blue in the TV adaptation). She is described as having "long dark hair sun-bleached a lighter brown at the tips, pale white skin despite a week just spent in the Caribbean and sharp muddy-green eyes braced of impact." She also has a dimple in her chin.
Pip can be described to have a type A personality. Pip is intelligent, loyal, and forgiving as shown in the series - especially for someone so young but solves a murder mystery when the police couldn't! Ravi SinghRavi and Pip met in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, after Pip goes to Ravi's house and requests to ask him a few questions about his brother, Sal. Ravi agrees. Later we see Ravi offer to help Pip and she accepts, taking him on a walk in the woods where Sal's body was found and proposing her theories on what happened to Andie Bell. They become closer as they uncover the truth, and the first book ends with them sharing a kiss and holding hands.
In Good Girl Bad Blood, we find out that Cara has put money on that Ravi will ask Pip to be his girlfriend, it is Valentine's Day. We can infer that he does and she accepts. In April, they attend the memorial for Andie and Sal's 6 year death anniversary.

•Pip is based off of a friend of the author (Holly Jackson) of the series.
•Pip's stepdad calls her "pickle".
•Pip has a dog named Barney, but he was kidnapped by Becca Bell and drowned when he was set free in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. It is later revealed that Jason Bell killed him after seeing him with Becca, thinking the dog was hers.
