Robert Andrews Millikan war ein US-amerikanischer Physiker. Millikan erhielt 1923 den Nobelpreis für Physik für seine berühmten Öltröpfchen-Experimente, mit denen er die Elementarladung eines Elektrons ermittelte, sowie für seinen Beitrag zur Erforschung des photoelektrischen Effekts.
