Founded in 1717, Historic Trappe has three Revolutionary War-era historic sites open to the public: the Henry Muhlenberg House, furnished with many original family heirlooms; the Speaker's House, an ongoing restoration and kitchen garden; and the Dewees Tavern, with five exhibit galleries of Pennsylvania German folk art, furniture, and much more.
