The Medical College of Georgia (often referred to as MCG) is the flagship medical school of the University System of Georgia, the state's only public medical school, and one of the top 10 largest medical schools in the United States.
The Medical College of Georgia educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state and a second four-year campus in Athens in partnership with the University of Georgia.

Applications for the Medical College of Georgia's Class of 2029 officially open through AMCAS on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 and submission begins on May 28, 2024. Applications will be processed in the AMCAS office then forwarded to the medical school (s) of the applicant’s choice.
