Peter Zeitlinger (* 6. Juni 1960 in Prag) ist ein österreichischer Kameramann und Filmemacher. Internationale Aufmerksamkeit erlangte er 2007 durch den Oscar -nominierten Film Begegnungen am Ende der Welt, der in der Antarktis im Zwei-Mann-Team mit Werner Herzog gedreht wurde.

Herzog was only allowed to bring a four-person crew into the cave, so he was just accompanied by cinematographer Peter Zeitlinger, a sound recordist (Eric Spitzer-Marlyn), and an assistant, and worked the lights himself. [6]
Peter Zeitlinger is an accomplished filmmaker whose career encompasses cinematography, directing, producing, writing, editing and visual effects. Zeitlinger has worked with Werner Herzog since 1995. Their intensive collaboration has yielded many successful documentaries as well as dramas like Bad Lieutenant, Rescue Dawn and Queen of the Desert.
