9. 2022 jsem oficiálně oznámil kandidaturu na prezidenta České republiky. Jako občanského kandidáta mne následně podpořilo více než 80 000 občanů ČR. 28. 1. 2023 jsem byl v přímé volbě zvolen novým prezidentem České republiky. Svůj volný čas nejraději trávím na motorce, chozením po horách, cestováním a na chalupě s manželkou a vnoučaty.
