Salacak İstanbul Anadolu Yakası Üsküdar ilçesi sınırlarında yer alan Şemsipaşa ile Harem arasında, Kızkulesi’nin karşısında bulunan kıyı ve arkasındaki tepenin bulunduğu semtin adıdır.
Üsküdar has been a conservative cultural center of the Anatolian side of Istanbul since Ottoman times with its numerous historic landmark and little mosques and dergahs. Üsküdar is a major transport hub, with ferries to Eminönü, Karaköy, Kabataş, Beşiktaş and some of the Bosphorus suburbs.
