With a career spanning more than 50 years, she is regarded as the first major female Latin American crossover star in Hollywood.
Dolores Del Río was a pioneer of Mexican cinema and a Hollywood star in the 1920s and 1930s. She starred in silent and sound films, such as Ramona, Flying Down to Rio, and Maria Candelaria, and sang in several movies.
