With the opening of a branch in Berlin, the JULIA STOSCHEK FOUNDATION is the first private collection in Germany to be open to the public in two places at once - in Düsseldorf and Berlin.

JULIA STOSCHEK STELLT IHRE MEDIENKUNSTSAMMLUNG ONLINE. DÜSSELDORF/BERLIN, MAI 2020. Die JULIA STOSCHEK COLLECTION hat begonnen, ihren Sammlungsbestand von mehr als 860 Werken von 282 Künstler*innen ohne Beschränkungen und kostenlos online zugänglich zu machen.

The Julia Stoschek Collection is an international private art collection with a focus on time based media art. To offer her collection a temporary home in Berlin, Meyer-Grohbrügge redesigned the former Czech cultural institute, a fully glazed building with a complex and compartmentalized floor plan.
