Faculty of Political Science, or Mülkiye is a well established institution in Turkey providing higher education in the fields of Political Science, Public Finance, Economics, Public Administration, Labor Economics, Business Administration and International Relations.
On March 23, 1950, with the law no. 5627, it came under the umbrella of Ankara University and was named Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences. In 1955, Mülkiye changed its status and allocated the first two years of its education and training to common courses in social sciences, and the last two years to specialization.
Launched in the 2019-2020 Academic Year, the Department of Politics and Economics is the youngest department of the Faculty of Political Sciences (Mülkiye), Ankara University.
