Peter Scholze (* 11. Dezember 1987 in Dresden) ist ein vielfach ausgezeichneter deutscher Mathematiker und Träger der Fields-Medaille. Er ist Hochschullehrer an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn und Direktor am Max-Planck-Institut für Mathematik.
