Frédéric Talgorn (born 2 July 1961 in Toulouse, France) is a French composer for film and television . He studied music at the Conservatoire de Paris where his teachers included Sabine Lacoraet and Yvonne Loriod, but he completed his studies on his own.
Né le 2 juillet 1961 à Toulouse, Frédéric Talgorn vit et travaille aux États-Unis. Il commence sa carrière en 1989 avec Docteur Jekyll et M. Hyde (Edge of Sanity). Depuis Le Brasier, en 1991, il compose aussi pour le cinéma français et connaît plusieurs succès dont Anthony Zimmer et Les Aiguilles rouges.

In 1987 he moved to the United States where he began to compose film music.
Biography. Frederic Talgorn was born in Toulouse, France. He started to study music at the age of seven, first in his native city, then in Paris with Piano teacher Sabine Lacoarret and -following the advice of Olivier Messiaen- with Yvonne Loriod, both teachers at the Paris Conservatory.
