Isabel Capeloa Gil (born in Mira, Mira on 22 July 1965) is the 6th Rector of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) and President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities. She is a Full Professor of Culture Studies at the School of Human Sciences. [3]

Manuel Clemente, 17.º Patriarca de Lisboa.
Biography. Full Professor of Culture Studies and the current Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP). She holds a B.A. in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Lisbon (1987), and an M.A. in German Studies from the same university (1992), as well as a PhD in German Language and Culture from UCP (2001).

Dez. 2023 · Isabel Maria de Oliveira Capeloa Gil has been Rector of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) since 2016, President of the UCP Foundation, and President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) since 2018. She is a Professor of German Studies and Culture at the Faculty of Human Sciences at UCP.
